I'm back from a festval so sorry for the waiting but I'm back on tracks.
I even took contacts with several old clans I was in to participate in my blog posts.
I finished the first part of this game RECETTEAR a while ago and I have to admit that it is enjoyable.
You get really charmed by the atmosphere inside the game. Classic Japanese RPG style with wonderful characters. But the gameplay is unique.
You are a Item SELLER and you see the adventurers as your clients. So basically you can finish the video-game by setting prices for individual clients and take the most profit of it. The first goal of the game if to refinance loans to your investor. You can adapt to the market prices and even recognise the pigeon in every consumer.
There are also parts of the game where you can play dungeons as an adventurers but in the end you don't really feel like finishing everything.
I have to say I loved it but it's still a capitalist game and as you're probably aware of I'm against the monetary system so I wanted to make that post and uninstall tne software from my computer.
And would also like to express my rage about what happened.some months ago. I parked my car in front of my home in town. And some garage owner parked his car INSIDE mine. I waited but I get no money from car accident lawyer. So I may have to invest in new parts soon. But I want to buy a couple of games soon so I may wait for the price to go low. I'll talk about them soon ;)

I miss the selected chamber on silver to reach the achievment but I'll soon get it.
I also tried the map pack that add the flash game's level. And as I heard it really is the best map pack ever. Also better then Portal 2 in my opinion.
Talking about Portal 2 I have to recommand a very good website.

I bought my Portal 2 key and had to wait a bit before they shipped it to me but still it went so nice that I think I will buy again over there next time. I get it for 35E and it was 32 the day after. I paid by credit card and I was satisfied with the transaction. Try it if you want Portal 2 as well.
I've started playing it when buying the new Orange box as many of you surely did. And I went through the game having much fun for 4/5 hours but then nothing. I tried the avanced map wich are 6 maps of the game remixed to be a bit harder. And a bit weird sometimes so not much fun in the end. But still it is a game you can't forget.
And I know most of my friends played the game this way !
But long ago going in a local oraganised LAN I was so fed up that people played counter-strike all day long that me and a friend started playing PORTAL 1 in the middle of the day. (Marv Lap1 was present this day ;) My friend told me : Hey ! Ever tried the CHALLENGE maps ?
Since the avanced maps didn't give me anything to dream on it was true that I didn't even tried them.
So he started showing me what it was really all about.
To explain shortly you have the 6 individual maps with challenge attached to it. Look at this picture:
Yes it's this screen that give you the real game in the end. Many people didn't even tried it myself included. But you have to by exemple finish one map with 10 portals. Wich gives you the first bronze medal (next medals are hidden wich is great when you dicover the next goal) And it goes decrescendo to reach by exemple 4 portals to have the gold.
Wich leads to many surprise of how the HELL you can finish the map with less steps less time or less portals.
It will makes you find inside yourself techniques that was totally not needed in the main solo game.
I started playing that challenges again this days cause it still not is over. You'll need so much time compared to the max 6 hours of the main adventure. For now I finished the first 3 maps all in gold and I get the all bronze achievement.
So my question to all you gamers and then probably possessing the first Portal.
Did you tried the challenges map ? And if no you definatly should.
I bought this game on steam not really knowing what to expect.
The ad came from Rush an other great game.
But I was really really well surprised by it.

Looks like a plateforme game right ?
Well it's not. It's a puzzle and high reflexion game.
The goal is to reach every eggs on the map.
As in Braid you can rewind but most of the time you have to analyse the level really long and then you can take the perfect way.
Every object you can use modify the whole gameplay.
It was included in the Steam's potato sack promotion and I personnaly think it's a must have. Some new levels are added and I didn't even solve one HARD level. Yeah they are THAT HARD !
I'll post about my improvment on it soon cause I'm really into this game this days.

Still on Portal 2 at the moment and I finally found my partner in science who helped me through the co-op who is none other then the famous Rydou !
Yeah you probably remind him from the well-known clan CVF
He played the P-body bot and I did the wonderfull Atlas.

He decided to buy the game and we played it once for now. We will get the achievments soon. But I'm kinda disapointed that he felt necessary to get spoiled on the solo achievments :/ (I know, I know I wonder my friends)
Apart from some 4/5 rooms that made us perplex it was kinda fast and too short as usual but still it was great !
Anyway it would always be too easy for the dream team that we are
Can you immagine the combinated power of two major gamers of all time ?
I can even tell you that we hugged many times and I think I even had a boner for him.
Dudes I get it yesterday in the morning ! At least my morning but I had so many crap things in my mind full of... that I started it last night.
I'll make a full report when I'll have it "completed" but as far as I reached I'm kinda disapointed by it. I saw that there's no medals like in the first one and the main adventure feel more like you discover the wonderfull views (they are) but don't solve master puzzles.
I bought it on an online store that sells keys and I get it for the preorder price even if it was past the steam prorder.
I'm even looking for a co-op partner so fill the form to be in the 1337 team ;)
I'm still playing Assassin's creed 2.5 this days and it's so wonderful ! Really the ultimate AC for me. I may even try to get the pristine 100%
But something catched my eye going through the game.
Has every gamer who played the serie knows there's a feature not necessary to end the game that's called "The truth"
It's some sort of riddle that leads to a fragment of video. If you find them all you get the whole video.
In this opus the riddles are getting extremly hard and I still didn't take the time to finish them. But I noticed something.
Look at the subtitles ! Behind the idea in the game that templars are behind every conspiracy we actually believe in our own world. I think here that the conceptors of the game try to give a message.
A message that is non politic nor religious.
I've been interested this last months on a movement called the Zeitgeist movement.
This particular movement is made of scientists who show that labour today is modern slavery and that removing the monetary system and replace it by a ressource base economy would remove the cancer of our society. Like hunger poverty war and politic.
Here as well you can see the message similar to Zeitgeist.
I think it's awesome to share that idea in one of the best game of the year. And I don't think it will stop ! The movement is grass root and it will lead to many form of art.

Well I've reached 100 followers. I know I'm kinda famous on the web but it really goes straight to my heart receiving so much lovely comments from everywhere. I saw that every members of the ASFH added me and I would like to make a tribute to them.
I also thanks Rydou, Dperspective, Marv Lapin, Brian, Julia K; T Rose, every members of the AFD and MCL.
Wich really helped me to reach my world ranking.
I also thanks Buckethead; Slayer who kinda make me pwn when I hear them.
I guess all of you know the Fallout serie. Everytime you talk about it with gamers it reminds of our own childhood mostly for the first and second opus.
To me it was hell. Every time I tried it I failed. It was long ago I don't really know the reasons anymore.
I remind going too fast to the last zone, running out of time. I even guess that time thing always worried me too much. So basically only fails and I forgot about the game.
But some years ago a friend of mine told me : "Hey you should try boosting Agility"
I tried and yeah it wasn't much a talent I would upgrade in the beggining. Here it changed my game and I managed to finish it.....so quickly. Because yes Fallout 1 is short but really good.
And has all of you probably knows it leads to something huge :)
Ok here's the most uncommon classic. And it will be the only screenshot to show.
Zork is a textual game where you basically type what you want to do and it writes back what happens on this wonderful DOS window. Even as a child I played some Amstrad games like this where you had to choose between 6 choices all the time. But here you have to actually write the whole sentance. I used to think that a game made that way couldn't have a nice gameplay. But I was wrong !
The way you use the verbs in Zork is really user-friendly and the game understand so many different way of saying anything that you don't even think about making the computer get what you want. I'm stuck not that far in the game so I can't really talk about the scenario but I played other Zork games and the background is gold ! Most of the game happens underground and there's many humoristic and satiric characters.
Last word will be that this game is extremly hard due to the variety of actions ! Even with drawing a map you get lost and some things are really hard to figure out. I think this is the only game I can't play alone. I heard a whole team managed to finish it and I guess you need several minds to end it.

This days I'm going to present first the games I kinda pwn. And this one is one of my heartbeat cause I have a 8th position for one map on world ranking. I have as well loads of good times but this is my best one.
For those who don't know trackmania is the perfect car game for those who doesn't really like car games. This is absolutely not realistic (You can still accelerate or slow down while in air) so it's just fun. There's only 4 buttons but the game is played at ESWC every year and the E-sport dimension is huge.
To be short I bought tis game something like 7 years ago and even if I don't play more then 4 times a year when I do it I do it with passion and it still is a game I don't get tired of.
When I first started playing there was a tournament in a well known European store. There I went with some friends to win but I had a big surprise ! When I arrived my friend who came earlier told me that there was no hope winning. I couldn't even believe him so I did my best and made something like 35.xx secs on the map pwning my friends. But then I checked the score on the board and it was written 32.xx .........
3 whole seconds I couldn't believe it ! I asked who was the alien and they told me it's this quite guy on the bench over here. I went to him and said: "From witch planet are you from ?" then we started talking about the game and we agreed to play after the tournament exchanging contacts. He beated the world record playing on the map this day. I kept contact with him and he was often showing me results of trackmania tournament with France written, I thought he was showing me some stats of his little team.
This is where it gets fun ! 6 months later I look at the ESWC video and what did I see ?????? This guy from my region who won 1st place ! He then made 2nd and 4th every other years.
Sometimes I smile when I see that I beat one of his times ;) But enough for the epic stories. This game is so much worth it. It's 30 Euros since it's out and there's every game on the serie compiled in one. The whole stat system is the best I ever see in any game. I don't get tired of it after 7 years. There's a load of mods that I even prefere to the normal game wich already includes 7 differents types of gameplay. Plus try to immagine that the demo version had 9000+ maps coming out every DAY ! Needless to say you can't even put a number to the hours of fun you can have with trackmania forever.
Since this blog is about my video game career I have to say that I've been and still am world champion of this Half life 1 mod: SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY.
The main purpose of this mod is to make more money then the rival company. To do that you must have more scientists working for you. So basically it's a capture the flag with humans as a flag. My role in the team is to attack so I do capture them.
But it doesn't stop there. Many things changes the course of the game and each map has his own specialities but the most interesting is the vote system. You start with only a briefcase and a gun to defend yourself. But the scientist are actually making reaserch for the team so every reaserch round there's a vote. The result of that vote leads to the next technology. It can go from new guns to new legs to go faster, jump modules, armor, and even upgrading the cofee strenght to make scientists work faster. It changes the whole strategyt at every game.
We still play on every sunday evening where there's a semi organised match taking place. This is an under appreciated mod but the fact is the community is made of the best elite of gamers. We even had 2 of the speedrunner from half life 1 playing.
Well yesterday I started Assassin's creed brotherhood wich is the 2.5's opus of the serie supposed to be a trilogy..
I don't know if some of you played it but the first was kinda lame but the second gives life to the whole serie. I really enjoyed playing it but it still was kinda quick to reach the end.
But with this one I really feel like I'm gonna spend some time on it. Missions ask for special objectives to finish with 100% and the beauty of it makes me wanna find all the crap hidden on the whole map.
I feel like they gave interest to every single crappy aspect the last games had.
I'll give a screenshot with everything finished when it's done but I can say that apart from the 100+ objects to find everywhere I finished the 2 first games 100%
I'll post a recap anyway but for now I'll have to play some nights ;)

Took me 6/7 hours but still I really enjoyed it !
The game is a remake of the playstation's Katamari, wich was needed for a true PC gamer. The game isn't as huge as the PS one but basically you start being a buch of molecules that sticks everything you pass on. You can start little as a model car in a mall and end the level eating the whole shop.
The game has a time attack functionality so if ever anyone has good time don't hesitate challenging me it'll motivate me to build good performances.
I strongly recommend to try it even if the videos don't really show the fun you can have playing it !
I've never been so proud of anything. This achievment was hell to get.

It is actually a group of levels inspired on "I wanna be the guy" wich is one of the hardest game ever made
If you don't know super meat boy it is the proof that old fashioned game can bring you more fun than fancy graphics games.
Best game I bought in 2010 I strongly recommend it !
It is so complete (500 levels + editor)
For those who don't know Buckethead is my hero ! Even with his blinding speed he keeps notes into pure emotions. But this is one of the most peacefull he ever made. Good to rest and dream. Have fun friends.
